Should India take over/Assimilate Pakistan?

When India and Pakistan split, Pakistan got most of the punjab province.
Punjab is known as the breakbasket of India because of AMAZINGLY fertile soils, some of the best growing conditions in the world.
Punjab has 5 rivers flowing through it, India has 1 and Pakistan has the other four.
If India controlled pakistan, they would be able to successful utilize all that amazing land and all the natural resources that Pakistan has but the government is unable to use. It would also reunite families and make it easier for traveling as Pakistan has some of the oldest cities every discovered http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohenjo-daro
There's just so much stuff in Pakistan that could be preserved/utilized but the government is too incompetent to do anything and will end up destroying it.

the thing is if pakistan would to join india then the whole islam vs hindu issue would arise again. That is one of the main reasons pakistan broke away from india ><

The reason they split was because of religion.
But if you look at both countries now, INDIA has more muslims than Pakistan
INDIA has more muslims than any country in the world.
the muslims and hindus in India live in peace with each other unlike almost any other country.

i see what your saying but pakistan's government is not only 'infected'. The pakistani citizens have been literally brainwashed through the manipulations and dumbness of pakistani officials and they are bound to rebel. the border of pakistan and india is very 'war'ish and i read somehwhere the place that would most likely to have a nuclear war is pakistan vs india. I don't think we can make peace so easily. what is funny is that i am paki....

Well, if free vote was given in Kashmir, most of them would side with India. Also Pakistan is modernizing, eventually they'll learn just how corrupt their government is and then maybe huge riots and a civil war? If that happens it's free for the taking of India :O

India Muslims are good muslims tho.
Like they aren't extremist AT ALL, they don't follow a lot of the quranic principles like xenophobia and what not and those that I do know don't hate other religions.
I have a few muslims friends that celebrate holi.

well it might be too late for india by then cause india's population is growing tooooo fast. It is bound to declare war on some bordering country and take over .Do u guys realize just how horrrible we are?

I say that India should assimilate Pakistan, if Kashmir and the other disputed areas had a fair vote I'm pretty sure they would want control by India.
Also there are more muslims in India than in Pakistan and they live side by side, with the Mosque in Ayodha that used to be a hindu mandir, the government came to a vote and made it a holy place for both religions and there was no strife, unlike 20ish years ago when there were mass riots over this.
Pakistan under Indian control would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better D:
